Dog Licenses
Licensing helps the recovery of lost or stray animals and helps protect the public from rabies, since licensed dogs must have proof of vaccination. All dog licenses must be renewed annually. All dogs five months and older must be registered with the Town of Cedarburg and/or within 30 days of acquiring ownership of a new dog. Licences purchased after March 31st will be charged an additional $5.
In order to receive a license, you will need to supply the Town with the veterinarian clinic and proof of rabies vaccination.
The license fee is as follows:
- Spayed female or neutered male $5.00
- Non-spayed female or non-neutered male $10.00
Dog license applications may be dropped off at Town Hall in the large blue bin. They will be processed and issued per Code.
