Noxious Weed Notice

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to each and every person who owns, occupies or controls land in the TOWN OF CEDARBURG Ozaukee County, State of Wisconsin to destroy all noxious weeds on such property before the plants bloom. Noxious weeds are:

  • Canada Thistle
  • Bull Thistle
  • Leafy Spurge
  • Field Bindweed (Creeping Jenny)
  • Purple Loosestrife
  • Garlic Mustard
  • Common Buckthorn
  • Glossy Buckthorn
  • Wild parsnip

The above-named weeds must be destroyed at such time and in such manner as shall effectually prevent them from bearing seed or spreading to adjoining property as required by Wisconsin Statue § 66.0407 and Cedarburg Town Code of Ordinances § 246-3.
